NeuroCalm Method
The NeuroCalm Method is a trauma-informed, nervous-system–balancing approach that blends craniosacral therapy, Bioenergetic Synchronization Technique (B.E.S.T.), Neuro Emotional Technique (NET), Bio-Geometric Integration, guided breathwork, and targeted vagal release / vagus nerve stimulation into one deeply restorative experience. This gentle, non-force method works across the body’s structural, emotional, and energetic layers to unwind chronic tension, reset stress patterns, and support whole-body regulation.
Because the body often stores emotional and traumatic experiences within its tissues — as described in The Body Keeps the Score — this work unfolds gradually and respectfully. It may take multiple sessions to identify where deeper patterns are held and to help the body safely release them. Through a combination of cranial techniques, somato-emotional clearing, and vagal stimulation, the NeuroCalm Method promotes clarity, emotional unwinding, groundedness, and a more balanced autonomic nervous system.
This method helps individuals reconnect with their body, restore internal harmony, and move through life with greater ease, resilience, and coherence.

The nervous system constantly shifts between states associated with activity, stress, recovery, and relaxation. The parasympathetic nervous system—including pathways involving the vagus nerve—plays an important role in normal rest-and-recovery physiology.
Our NeuroCalm sessions incorporate gentle craniosacral, upper-cervical, suboccipital, breathing, and bodywork techniques designed to encourage relaxation and support healthy nervous-system regulation.
What Does the Research Show?
Research into craniosacral therapy has reported promising results for certain pain conditions. A systematic review and meta-analysis of 10 randomized controlled trials involving 681 patients found improvements in pain and functional disability associated with craniosacral therapy, although additional high-quality research is needed.¹
A randomized sham-controlled trial involving patients with chronic neck pain also reported significant improvements in pain and functional disability following craniosacral therapy compared with light-touch sham treatment.²
Researchers have additionally investigated whether manual techniques involving the upper cervical and suboccipital regions influence the autonomic nervous system. Small controlled studies have demonstrated changes in heart-rate variability following these interventions that are consistent with changes in cardiac parasympathetic modulation.³⁻⁵
These findings are promising but preliminary. Manual therapy should not be described as physically “releasing” the vagus nerve or as treating autonomic or psychological disorders. Instead, these techniques are incorporated as part of an individualized approach emphasizing relaxation, movement, breathing, comfort, and overall well-being.
